the brief

Take the cashier out of the loop, without taking away the payment options

Fuel stations needed round-the-clock self-service at the dispenser — a way for customers to complete transactions independently, cutting both wait times and the operational cost of staffing every payment.

Staffed hours cap the forecourt
Every payment needed a person, so the pump closed when the kiosk did.
Queues at peak
One counter serving every island turns a two-minute fill into a ten-minute stop.
Outdoor is a hardware problem
Sun, dust, temperature and gloved hands rule out an ordinary tablet POS.
the hardware

One chassis, every part of the transaction

Screen, keypad, card reader, contactless, scanner and printer in a single outdoor-rated unit — so nothing about paying needs a second device.

the software

A POS engine configured, not rewritten, per site

Fuel retail changes shape between operators. Rather than fork the build, the transaction workflow and system parameters are configuration.

01
Configurable POS engine
Transaction workflow and system parameters are fully customisable, so one platform fits both retail counters and fuel dispensing.
02
Cashier & shift management
Role-based login, shift open/close reconciliation and cash-drawer tracking.
03
Integrated alteration module
Orders and line items are modified on the terminal itself — no second system to reach for.
04
Automated exchange & return
Transaction reversal and return handling built in, every action written to an audit trail.
Payments

Three ways to pay, one unit

Chip and swipe cards, NFC contactless and mobile wallets all route through a multi-gateway layer in the same terminal — so the customer’s method never decides whether self-service is available.

deployment

Fixed or mobile, and shaped to the brand

The same software platform drives a fixed forecourt terminal and a handheld unit, and the chassis and UI layout are specified per installation.

Dual-mode operation
Fixed touchscreen and mobile POS on one common platform, so staff and self-service share a codebase.
Modular hardware
Multiple chassis and UI layout options to suit the installation and the operator’s branding.
Visual item display
Items and fuel grades render on screen, so the customer verifies the transaction before paying.
